Instructor Profile 1: Caroline Murray

Together with Victoria Taylor (see below) Caroline Murray manages the Active Pilates Studio. Caroline comes from an athletic background with 15 years experience in personal training and fitness class instruction including aerobics, circuits, step and body conditioning. In 2003 she trained and qualified in Sports Massage Therapy and has been able to incorporate this therapy knowledge into her pilates teaching.

Caroline trained as a STOTT PILATES instructor at the Oxford Studio through Active Training and has been teaching mat and reformer classes since the outset. She enjoys teaching a range of clients from young to more mature, special populations, other personal trainers and pilates instructors and encourages use of all the STOTT PILATES equipment the studio has on offer.

She is fully a certified Level 2 STOTT PILATES Instructor and Caroline is also a qualified Instructor Trainer teaching students to become pilates instructors at the Oxford, Active Pilates Studio.

Instructor Profile 2: Victoria Taylor

Victoria has a background in fitness and personal training, with over 10 years experience. She has taught a variety of classes and worked as a Gym Manager within a health club.

As the Active Pilates Studio Manager, she is certified to teach STOTT PILATES Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels as well as Injuries and Special Populations.

Victoria has introduced cardio-vascular, burst-training onto the Active Pilates timetable, with the new X-iser equipment, along with the New Total Body Conditioning Workout to enable clients to have a fully rounded Pilates regime.

She is also the Enhanced Support Instructor for students training to become pilates instructors via the Enhanced Matwork for the non-fitness professional course run at the Active Pilates Studio.

Instructor Profile 3: Linda Riley

Linda has been involved in fitness for over 10 years. Her background is in fitness class instruction, and she is qualified to teach a variety of classes including aerobics, step, conditioning, stability ball, torso training and core stability.

Linda’s enthusiasm for pilates is such that she recently re-trained as a STOTT PILATES instructor at the Oxford Studio through Active Training. She is certified in STOTT PILATES Matwork and Reformer.

Linda enjoys teaching clients of all fitness abilities and ages, and would like everyone to have the chance to experience the benefits of pilates in their daily lives.
